English Speaking Course Day 8  में आज हम  Singular Pronoun और Plural Pronoun को बारीकी से समझेंगे

नीचे दी गयी दोनों Tables को हम English Speaking Course Day 7 में समझ चुके हैं।

3S means “3rd person singular subject”

Singular & Plural Pronouns

Pronoun वो होता है जो किसी Sentence में Noun को Replace करता है। कुछ Examples जैसे I, We, You, He, She, This, That, it, They, These, Those. ये सब तो हम पहले से ही जानते हैं। लेकिन आज हम जानेंगे कुछ महत्वपूर्ण Singluar और Plural Pronouns के बारे में। ताकि जब आगे हम sentences को बनायें तो हमें पता हो कि कौन सा Pronoun SINGULAR माना जायेगा और कौन सा Pronoun PLURAL.

Singular Pronoun – One, Each, Everyone, Everybody, Everything, Someone, Somebody, Something, Anybody, Anyone, Anything, Nothing. ये सभी 3rd Person Singular Pronoun कहलाते हैं।

Plural Pronoun – Both, Few, Several, Others….. ये सभी 3rd Person Plural Pronoun कहलाते हैं।

Singular & Plural Pronoun – कुछ ऐसे Pronoun भी होते हैं जो Singular और Plural दोनों की तरह Treat  किये जाते हैं। जैसे – All, Some, More, None…

Singular Pronoun

One – एक / हर कोई (हर किसी को)

“One’’ का यूज़ जब भी आप Subject में देखते हैं। तो इसका मतलब होता है एक / हर कोई (हर किसी को)। ये एक singular pronoun है।

एक यहाँ है, एक किचन में है

One is here, one is in the kitchen.

एक छात्र कक्षा में रो रहा है।

One student is weeping in the class.

One –हर कोई (हर किसी को)

हर किसी को हर किसी व्यक्ति का सम्मान करना चाहिए।

One should respect every person.

यहां पर आप One की जगह पर “Every one” या “We” का भी यूज़ कर सकते है।

पैसे से ज़्यादा प्यार की ज़रूरत होती है।

One needs love more than money.

Each – दो या दो से ज़्यादा में से हर एक

यहाँ हर एक लड़का मेरा दोस्त है।

Each boy is my friend here.

हर एक बिस्किट में चॉकलेट है।

Each biscuit has chocolate.

Every – दो से ज़्यादा में से हर एक

हर लड़का मेरा दोस्त है।

Every boy is my friend here.

हर बिस्किट में चॉकलेट होती है।

Every biscuit has chocolate.

Everyone / Everybody – हर कोई

हर कोई हॉल में सो रहा है।

Everybody is sleeping in the hall.

हर कोई डांस कर रहा था आपके अलावा।

Everyone was dancing except you.

Everything –  हर चीज़

हर चीज़ यहाँ सुंदर है।

Everything here is beautiful.

तुम्हारे पास हर चीज़ मेरी है।

Everything you have is mine.

Someone / Somebody – कोई (Positive sentences में)

दरवाज़े पर कोई है।

Someone is at the door.

मेरे पास कोई है, जो मेरी मदद करता है।

I have someone, who helps me.

Anyone / Anybody – कोई (Negative & Interrogative sentences में)

मैंने किसी को नहीं देखा।

I didn’t see anyone.

क्या दरवाज़े पर कोई है?

Is anyone at the door?

मेरे पास कोई नहीं है, जो मेरी मदद करता हो।

I don’t have anyone, who helps me.

Something – कुछ

यहाँ कुछ तो कमी है।

Something is missing here.

मेरे पास खाने के लिए कुछ है।

I have something to eat.

Anything – कुछ

क्या यहाँ कुछ कमी है?

Is anything missing here?

मेरे पास खाने को कुछ नहीं है।

I don’t have anything to eat.

Nothing – कुछ नहीं

यहाँ कुछ भी बोरिंग नहीं है।

Nothing is boring here.

मेरे पास खाने को कुछ नहीं है।

I have nothing to eat.

Plural Pronouns

Both – दोनों

दोनों के पास कारें हैं।

Both have cars.

आप दोनों अच्छे दोस्त हैं।

Both of you are good friends.

(Both of you की जगह आप “You both” भी कह सकते है।)

Few – कुछ

कुछ ट्रेन का इंतजार कर रहे है

Few are waiting for the train.

कुछ लड़कियाँ पार्क में बात कर रही थी।

Few girls were talking in the park.

Many – कई

कई ट्रेन का इंतजार कर रहे हैं।

Many are waiting for the train.

कई लड़कियाँ पार्क में बात कर रही थी।

Many girls were talking in the park.

Others – दूसरे

दूसरों को उसके मामले के बारे में कोई जानकारी नहीं है।

Others have no idea about this matter.

वह हाँ कह रहा है; दूसरे नहीं कह रहे हैं 

He is saying yes; others are saying no.

Singular & Plural Pronouns

All – सब / सभी

सब ठीक है।

All is well.

सब मेरा ही है।

All is mine only.

सब ठीक हैं।

All are well.

सब आपका इंतजार कर रहे हैं।

All are waiting for you.

None – कोई नहीं

कुछ भी ठीक नहीं है।

None is well.

आपका इंतजार कोई नहीं कर रहा है

None is waiting for you.

आपका इंतजार कोई नहीं कर रहे हैं।

None are waiting for you.

क्लास में कोई नहीं बैठा ह

None is sitting in the class.

कोई क्लास में नहीं बैठे हैं।

None are sitting in the class.

Some – कुछ / थोड़ा

कुछ लोग आ रहे हैं।

Some people are coming.

कुछ पानी की ज़रूरत है।

Some water is required.

कोई नाच रहा है, तो कोई बैठा हैं।

Some are dancing and some are sitting.

मेरी पढ़ाई के लिए कुछ पैसे बचाए गए हैं।

Some money is saved for my study.

More – ज़्यादा

ज़्यादा लोग आ रहे हैं।

More people are coming.

ज़्यादा पानी की ज़रूरत है।

More water is required.

कोई नाच रहा है, तो कोई बैठे हैं।

More are dancing and some are sitting.

मेरी पढ़ाई के लिए ज़्यादा(और) पैसे बचाए गए हैं।

More money is saved for my study.
