Sacred _Thread (जनेहु)

Make Compassion The-Cotton,
#Contentment The-Thread,
#Modesty The-Knot & #Truth_The_Twist.

This's The-Sacred-Thread of #The_Soul;
If U hv it then go ahead & put it on me,

It doesn't Break,
It can't be Soiled by Filth,
It can't be Burnt, & Lost.

Blessed're those #Mortal_Beings,

#O_Nanak! Who wear such a Thread around The-Necks.

You Buy The-Thread for a few Shells,
Seated in your Enclosure,
You put it on,
Whispering Instructions into other's Ears,
The-BRAHMIN becomes a Guru,
But The-Dies & The-Sacred-Thread falls-away & #The_Soul departs without it.
