7 Things To Be Done When Going To Gurdwara and also in Gurdwara.
1. Naam Japna while travelling to the Gurdwara.
2. Never go empty handed. Take something along as offering (Phayta). Can be money or something useful.
3. Never throw money during methatakna (bowing down after Guruji).. Firstly greet Guruji, Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji Fateh, then put the money with respect in the Guru Kar Golak and bow down. If any other offering (Phayta), keep it down nicely as well.
4.No matter how wealthy or powerful one can be but always go to Gurdwara with humbility (Mann Neva & Nimarta), then one shall obtain something spiritually.
5. Never rush to methatakna (bowing down after Guruji) or doing any sewa. Do it slow with love while chanting Waheguru Waheguru Waheguru.
6. Always wear decent cloths which is suitable to wear in Gurdwara. Gurdwara is not a place to do fashion promoting.
7. Always take Parshad.
